The FMA and FMS series filters are used to remove solid, liquid and, when using activated carbon cartridges, gaseous contaminants from compressed air. In addition to liquids and dust, the filters remove virtually all oil droplets and the finest dust particles from compressed air. Filters with activated carbon cartridges remove virtually all oil vapors and odors.
The FMA filters are pressure-resistant, machined aluminum housings with free chromium (VI) passivation. The FMS filters are machined steel housings with complete iron phosphate passivation.
Both filter series are threaded for connection to the compressed air supply. The housings are rated up to 100 and 350 bar, respectively. Higher pressure levels are available on request. The filter housings have two O-rings to protect the housing thread from negative influences from inside and outside. The end stop prevents thread stress and thus ensures easy opening of the filter housing when replacing the cartridge. The filter housing can also be opened with a hook wrench.
Due to the different grades of available filter cartridge types, it is possible to meet all application requirements in the field of industrial compressed air filtration. The selected filter media and their folded design guarantee high separation efficiency and at the same time low pressure loss, as well as a long service life of the filter elements, which results in the lowest costs. The complete integration of all relevant filter layers between the two cylinders creates filter cartridges with maximum operational reliability even under critical operating conditions.
