HLA - heatless regenerative dryers
Various industrial applications, such as chemical, pharmaceutical and laboratory equipment, require high-quality compressed air. The desiccant dryer supplies air with a pressure dew point of -40 °C, which is essential for these and other applications. The humidity of the compressed air is first maintained by the adsorbent that forms the tank filling, and is then eliminated during the regeneration phase; while the compressed air, dried and filtered, is sent to the distribution network. Regeneration occurs by taking a small portion of the dried air and then feeding it into the tank where it is to be regenerated.
The life and efficiency of the dryer depend on the removal of contaminated elements at the inlet. The use of coalescing pre-filters of the HF type at the inlet is strongly recommended. In addition, the use of an additional PF filter at the outlet is recommended to remove dust that may have formed inside the tank.
