SBS are air-cooled liquid chillers intended for industrial use and for outdoor installation. These chillers are designed for applications that require reliability, continuity of operation, high performance and reduced management costs.
All models are equipped with a brazed plate or shell and tube evaporator. The shell and tube design ensures reliable operation, especially with liquids containing impurities. On request, all models can be equipped with a hydraulic pump suitable for working with a water-glycol mixture and an accumulation tank, to ensure precise temperature control even in the presence of highly variable process thermal loads.
Thanks to a wide cooling capacity range of up to 1288 kW, it is possible to satisfy all customer requirements. The refrigerants used are R410A, R454B or R32. The chillers are equipped with one (models SBS.095 ÷ 160, SBSF.095 ÷ 160), two (models SBS.190 ÷ 720, SBSF.190 ÷ 720/F14), three (models SBS.840 ÷ 1030, SBSF. 840 ÷ 1030) or four (SBS.1230) cooling circuits with up to 3 compressors per circuit to ensure high efficiency even at partial load. In addition, thanks to the fan speed control, all units are suitable for operation down to an ambient temperature of -20 ° C.
SBSF free-cooling (combination of a dry cooler with compressor cooling), uses integrated free cooling coils and achieves great energy savings, especially at low ambient temperatures or high liquid content on the process side. The electrical protection degree is IP54 for all models. All units are tested in the HITEMA factory before shipment to ensure the best performance, reliability and continuity of operation to customers. It is recommended to install a suitable filter on the water inlet side of the unit.
The SBSF-OPT SERIES is an improved version of the SBSF series, which allows even higher energy savings thanks to the special design of the free-cooling coils.
The SBS-MC SERIES are modular air-cooled liquid chillers designed for industrial use and for outdoor installation. These chillers are designed for applications that require low refrigerant charge in the chiller to be environmentally friendly. All models are equipped with a brazed plate evaporator and scroll compressors. The refrigerants used are R410A, R454B OR R32. An aluminum micro-channel condenser coil and dual cooling circuit are available, all of which allow for reduced consumption.
