Adsorbers effectively reduce the oil vapor content in compressed air to a low level. Oil vapor is the second largest component in compressed air, which together with moisture forms condensate. The high efficiency of oil vapor removal prevents re-condensation during cooling of the compressed air and thus the re-formation of liquid oil. In addition, these active adsorbents remove a number of other hydrocarbons, odors and tastes.
DSS 1-8 consist of a painted aluminum profile and closed with a top and bottom plate. These versions are up to 16 bar.
DSS 10-100 and DSS 120- 630 are made of welded steel vessels with a surface treatment and a design pressure of up to 11 and up to 16 bar. The adsorbers are filled with 100% pure activated carbon. The flow is distributed through a stainless steel screen, which ensures an even flow and prevents abrasion of the carbon pellets.

DSS adsorbers are equipped with an oil indicator as standard, DSS 10-630 models are equipped with pressure gauges on the vessels. The activated carbon exchange point according to the indicator is approximately 15% to ensure sufficient absorption capacity of the filling.
